Harvest Moon Day (Korean Thanksgiving) Ceremony

On the Full Moon of the 8th Lunar month, Korean people celebrate their Harvest Moon festival, called Chuseok, which roughly corresponds to Thanksgiving Day in the United States. This is an important day of paying homage to ones’ ancestors, and here at the temple we also have a ceremony reflecting this. The Solar date differs every year, so stay tuned for further details.
